Volume Plan currently shows reference starting fees of RMB 150/m² for interior design, RMB 80/m² for architectural concept design, RMB 300/hour for consultation, and a RMB 20,000 minimum design engagement. Tax and third-party costs are excluded, and the final proposal depends on scope, complexity, programme, deliverables, and collaboration needs.
Volume Plan design fees cover the professional design stages, meetings, agreed drawings and specifications, and the revision rounds stated in the proposal. The exact deliverables and issue stages are listed before appointment.
Volume Plan identifies procurement coordination, products, samples, independent inspection, certification, freight, insurance, duties, tax, storage, local delivery, installation, local architects, engineers, and other third-party services separately unless the proposal explicitly includes them.
Volume Plan defines procurement as a separate scope covering agreed product research, supplier communication, quotation comparison, samples, shop drawings, order schedules, inspection coordination, consolidation, or freight coordination. The method and extent are confirmed in the project proposal.
Volume Plan recommends comparing equal scopes: design stages, drawing depth, FF&E, revisions, meetings, local site services, procurement administration, landed product cost, compliance, installation, and responsibility for each risk. Excluded unless agreed
Regulated and third-party work remains outside the base design fee.
Local permits and approvals, structural engineering, MEP documentation, licensed construction, plumbing and electrical installation, customs, logistics, third-party warranties, and local licensed site supervision are not included unless explicitly arranged through a separate agreement.
